When John Grinder and Richard Bandler first put together Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) they studied exceptional therapists.
Frits Pearls, Virginia Satir and Milton Erickson all of whom were masters within the field of people helping.
Bandler and Grinder set up a modeling experiment and studied every interaction, verbal and non- verbal that they had during a client session.
