I had a client who had been through assertiveness training and various management courses to help her to overcome her presenting issue, basically she could be assertive with anyone younger than herself but she would freeze with anyone older!
Yes it sounds weird and that’s probably why they asked me to work with her. She had had coaching and this thing didn’t want to budge.
